Profit margins can be very high in the balloon and party industry. A typical spend for a wedding is usually £300 with a very good profit margin. In the summer months you may do as many as 6 weddings per week. School proms are also popular as well as birthday parties, christenings and wedding anniversaries.

You may also be asked to supply balloons for new shop openings, office parties and corporate functions. Balloon releases and race packages are also popular and you may also wish to hire out helium or sell disposable cannisters to those people that wish to do their own balloon decorating.

You may choose to work just part time from home choosing your own working times or like myself build up your business into a fulltime occupation.
